1982년 미국에서 태어나, 보우딘 칼리지 (Bowdoin College)에서 문화인류학을 전공했다.
현재 서울에서 작업 중이다.Jookyung Lee is interested in the photographic medium’s inherent capacity for nonverbal, visceral communication. Through the seemingly simple act of attentive observation in the everyday, his practice meditates on light and darkness, the literal and metaphorical, the external and inner.
Born in Iowa City, Iowa in 1982, Jookyung Lee studied cultural anthropology at Bowdoin College.
He currently works in Seoul.
